Policies

Plain terms, fairly kept.

Deposits & payment

A $50 deposit reserves your job and covers your leather. It's credited toward your total — never an extra fee. The balance is due on completion, after you've approved photos of the finished Bible. If anything about your book changes the price, you'll know before work begins, not after.

Turnaround

Two weeks from the day your Bible arrives at my shop. If you're working toward a date that matters — a graduation, a wedding, Christmas — tell me when you book and I'll plan around it.

Shipping

You ship your Bible to the shop address I send when you book — packed snug, with tracking. I'll confirm return shipping with you before your finished Bible heads home.

Lifetime warranty

Every rebind and every leather good that leaves my shop is covered for life against defects in materials and craftsmanship. If a stitch fails or the leather gives out because of how it was made, I’ll make it right.

Normal wear, abuse, and loss aren’t covered — leather is meant to be used, and used things show it. That’s patina, not a defect.

Care

Your rebind leaves with care guidance: condition it once or twice a year, keep it out of direct sun and damp basements, and let the patina come. Full-grain leather wants to be used. Read the full guide: How to Care for a Leather Bible Cover.

The short version

I'll treat your Bible the way I'd treat my own. If a repair will do, I'll say so. If a rebind doesn't make financial sense for your book, I'll say that too. Questions anytime: [email protected]
