How it works

From your shelf to my bench and back.

1. Get your quote

Answer a few questions about your Bible and what you want. You'll see an honest itemized estimate — no email required, no commitment.

2. Reserve your spot

A $50 deposit reserves your job and covers your leather. It's credited toward your total.

3. Ship your Bible

I'll send you the shop address when you book. Pack it snug — a padded mailer inside a box — and send it with tracking.

4. Assessment & photos

I go through your book page by page, note every issue, and photograph the personal markings — notes, underlining, pressed flowers — so nothing is lost track of. If it needs extensive restoration, you'll get an exact quote before a single page is touched.

5. The work

The old cover comes off. Torn leaves are repaired, the binding is resewn or reinforced, the spine is rebuilt, and your new cover is cut, hand-stitched, and cased on — with your choice of endsheets, ribbons, endbands, and engraving.

6. Approval & balance

You get photos of the finished Bible. When you approve, the balance is due — then it ships home.

Turnaround: two weeks from the day your Bible arrives. If you're weighing timing against an occasion — a graduation, a wedding, Christmas — plan ahead.
