About

Meet the maker.

I’m Brandon. Every piece that leaves Lee Leather Co. — every Bible rebind, every wallet, every belt — is cut, stitched, and finished by my hands, here in Tennessee.

I started with Bibles because too many well-loved ones were sitting on shelves falling apart — held together with tape, swapped out for a phone app. Every one that comes into my shop has a story: sermon notes from decades of Sunday mornings, a grandfather’s handwriting in the margin, the verses that got somebody through hardships. Those can’t be replaced. My job is to get that Bible off the shelf and back to work.

Why vegetable-tanned leather

I build with full-grain, vegetable-tanned leather only — nothing else. Veg-tan is tanned with tree bark and natural tannins instead of harsh chromium chemicals, so it’s kinder to the people who make it, kinder to the ground it comes from, and it ages beautifully instead of flaking apart. A chrome-tanned cover lasts years. A veg-tan cover lasts generations — and it’s fully biodegradable when its very long life is finally done.

That’s why I back every piece with a lifetime warranty against defects in materials and craftsmanship. Build it right, build it once.
